What is Zonta

Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of women and men in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women. Through support for Zonta International service projects, educational programs and advocacy efforts, Zontians work together to make women's equality a reality around the globe. At the club level, individual Zonta clubs participate in service projects and advocacy efforts affecting their local communities.

Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals with experience in a recognized business or profession willing to support and implement the Mission of Zonta International.

Zonta offers an environment where women and men from diverse professions can join together to participate in meaningful advocacy, service, and fund raising projects to benefit the local and international communities. In addition, members build strong personal and professional relationships through networking and committee work.

 

Benefits and Obligations of Zonta Membership include:

  • Meeting interesting, involved individuals committed to advancing the status of women through service and advocacy locally and internationally.

  • Working together, through service and advocacy towards common goals; i.e., the objectives of Zonta International.

  • Experience the warmth of international fellowship. Members are welcome at Zonta Clubs worldwide.

  • Manageable time commitment for busy professionals, generally with one club meeting per month, plus social or fundraising activities as determined by local clubs.
